A.      Gooseneck is the premier brand of trailers and features superior materials and design.  They are built stronger to last longer and have been built by us for over 40 years. Our trailers are backed by a limited 5 year warranty.

Our Gooseneck trailers are built of heavy commercial grade materials.  Some similarly styled trailers are built of light weight materials that are not intended for everyday heavy duty use.  For example: 1) Our trailers’ bodies are one and one-half times thicker than some of the other similar styled trailers.  2) Our piping is full schedule 40 pipe instead of thin wall tubing in such things as sides, gate, and crossgates – unlike some of the other brands.  3) Goodyear tires are standard on our trailers.   4) We use 1/4” camber axles which are stronger than the 3/16” straight axles used by some similar style trailers.  There are other differences also in the fabrication of our trailers which help to provide the long term dependable usage our customers have come to expect.  Remember,  “Built Stronger to Last Longer” is not just our slogan, it is the defining feature of our Gooseneck trailers.

Q.     Can I connect a Gooseneck trailer to my standard bumper hitch?

A.      No, a Gooseneck trailer can only be connected to the Gooseneck hitch in the bed of your truck.  The proper hitch installation in your truck can be arranged when you make your Gooseneck trailer purchase.

Q.     What are the benefits of a Gooseneck style hitch over a standard bumper hitch?

A.      A Gooseneck style hitch has several benefits over a bumper hitch.  They are safer, distribute the weight better, and makes for easier control of the truck and trailer.  Gooseneck hitches also have a greater load capacity.

Q.     What types of trailer covers are available?

A.      We offer several cover options including bars, canvas, and solid metal.  Canvas covers have 2 separate pieces, a top and front, which can be used independently. Solid metal covered trailers come with a metal front, however, an open front is available.

Q.     Can all of your products be customized?

A.      Yes, all of our products can be customized and there are many options from which to choose.

Q.     What are the various noses available on your trailers?

A.      4ft, 6ft, square enclosed, sloped, and tapered; either solid or with pipe.

Q.     What types of tailgates are available?

A.      You can get a split gate (Butterfly, Batwing), swing, or sliding gate.

Q.     Is there reflective tape on the trailer?

A.  Yes, the trailers feature 3M brand reflective tape on the sides and back to meet D.O.T.

Q.     Can you increase a trailer’s strength to haul more cattle?

A.      Yes, we can increase the strength of your trailer by adding additional supports under the floor, and changing the axles, tires, and couplers.

Q.   Are your truck beds compatible with all truck models?

A.      Our truck beds are compatible with all full size, mid size, and small trucks.

Q.     Do you offer factory installation on truck beds?

A.      Yes, we offer factory installation of truck beds at an additional charge.
